About the Project
Stanley/Stella is a Belgian apparel company producing premium clothing for printing and decorating, partly in Bangladesh. To provide the workers from their factories and their families with medical care, we developed a mobile hospital solution for their specific production regions. Per day 100 people are being treated by 2 doctors and 2 medical nurses with any health issue that they are facing.

20,000+ people with access to free medical care and medicine
Scope: Purchase and re-modelling of a truck, equipment with all medical supplies and pharmaceuticals and operational costs
Duration: 1 Year (with the intention to extend to a long-term service for their workers)

About the Project
German fashion label ODERSO wanted to improve the access to clean water for as many people as possible in and around Dhaka, Bangladesh, where the population suffers greatly from the unfiltered waste water released back into the natural river circuits by the local garment factories. Together with our local partner, we identified 30 communities, tested the local water quality and provided 33 solutions, such as deep tube wells, biosand filters or a combination of both, based on our test results. Due to the longevity of the chosen solutions, we were able to secure the access to clean water for 14,320 people for the duration of at least 10 years.
Impact
20,000+ people with access to clean drinking water
Scope: 33 water solutions for 14,320 people
Duration: 10+ years longevity for all solutions implemented
Costs: 40,000 €

About the Project
UK-based textile brand Beechfield Brands Limited funds WASH projects in Karachi, Pakistan, where their partner factories are located. In order to be a part of the solution, we realize water filter and hygiene & sanitation projects for Beechfield Brands in areas which are negatively impacted by the local textile industry’s wastewater. Besides solar-powered water filters, we construct handwash facilities & toilets, provide kitchen garden utensils, seeds, and implements and provide training on water conservation and better management practices at public schools in the concerned area. Also advocacy and awareness-raising sessions are being conducted at regular intervals throughout the project. Besides the direct beneficiaries (100-200 students & teachers per school), the whole population of the respective villages indirectly benefits by having access to the water filter and handwash facilities during school closure.
Impact
1,100+ people with access to clean drinking water and sanitation facilities
Scope: Solar-powered water filter, sanitation facilities, hygiene and gardening trainings at a public school in Karachi
