Higher Education Programs for a Water-Responsible Textile Industry
From focused workshops to collaborative projects spanning an entire semester, our educational activities at universities connect academic learning with real-world challenges around water justice, global responsibility, and sustainable consumption. Lead by industry experts, our learning journeys build key competencies in systems thinking, ethical decision-making, and impact awareness, preparing students across disciplines to take responsibility in their future professional roles.
Across disciplines, the climate crisis and growing water scarcity raise fundamental questions of responsibility, justice, and sustainable decision-making. Our higher education programs address these questions through applied learning experiences that connect theory with real-world challenges. Students develop critical perspectives to reduce water-related risks along supply chains, eco systems and societies. Facilitated by industry experts, our university activities strengthen key competencies of your students for navigating complex sustainability issues in their future careers.

Our Educational Offering
Our higher education programs offer flexible formats that can be tailored to different timeframes and teaching contexts. The goal is not only to raise students’ awareness of the global connections between water, the textile industry, and environmental and justice issues, but also to empower them to actively consider water as a central sustainability topic in their future professional practice.
Workshops
A concise introduction featuring external input from international experts, flexibly adaptable to desired thematic focuses. Ideal for larger groups (from 15 participants). Provides initial insights, raises awareness, and stimulates reflection.
Block Seminar
An in-depth workshop conducted over multiple sessions, including a self-study phase and external input from international experts, tailored to the chosen thematic focus. Designed for smaller, committed groups (from 15 participants). Can also be integrated as part of a study module.
Semester-Long Project
An interdisciplinary format involving participants from multiple universities, with input from various international experts and optional assessments (e.g., case study, term paper, or presentation). It encourages in-depth, long-term engagement and strengthens individual reflection and perspective.
“It is a unique opportunity for students to experience dedicated experts from Drip by Drip’s network, who bring a lot of experience and, above all, practice from the field of water and fashion. The information in the workshops is always up to date and is characterized by a great complexity of content and topics. Thus, Drip by Drip connects the experienced practice with the teaching at the universities, which in my opinion, is absolutely essential for today’s learning.”
