Internships

Each year we offer 3 internships of 3-4 months each at our office in Berlin-Neukölln.

We offer

  • Internships of 3-4 months duration in our office in Berlin (remote or hybrid also possible if required)
  • The internship provides insights and activities in the core area of the organisation’s work, both in the Global North and the Global South
  • The internships are structurally integrated into the organisation’s work
  • Working hours of between 25 and 30 hours per week are desirable
  • Depending on the distribution of hours, the intern should be on site at the office between 2 and 4 days a week
  • We pay a flat-rate expense allowance (mini-job) of up to 538 euros per month for the internship
  • A total of 10 days holiday can be taken within the 4 months
  • Internships are only possible alongside a vocational or higher education programme, which must be proven by a certificate of enrolment
  • Longer internships are only possible as a compulsory internship as part of a degree programme or apprenticeship

We’re looking for

  • German language skills, conversational level
  • Master’s or BA students from the 5th semester (3rd year of study) or trainees from the 3rd year of training, with relevant practical experience
  • Students or trainees with at least one suitable professional experience in one of the following areas: Water, sustainability, fashion/textiles, power-critical and/or decolonial development cooperation work
  • Students or trainees from related disciplines (development cooperation, NGO administration, textiles, water, etc.)
  • Interest in public relations work (social media, newsletters, etc.)
