With a 35-minute audio/video format and multi-platform clips, we’re making a complex issue more accessible – for the sustainability world and beyond – on TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Spotify and other audio-only platforms. To amplify our reach, the audio version was co-published with Fashion Revolution on their “We Are Fashion Revolution” podcast channel.
From activists to brands, this multi-stakeholder podcast spotlights water justice in fashion - through voices from unions, NGOs, designers, scientists from both Global North & South.
WHY WE DO IT
Water pollution, overconsumption, and social injustice in fashion are deeply connected — and disproportionately affect women in the Global South. While the problem is multi-stakeholder, the conversation often remains siloed. This podcast brings together voices from all over the fashion system – from activists and local NGO’s in the Global South to researchers, brands, and policymakers.
OUR IMPACT
Our reach grew by 9.2% from season 1 to 2 – a number we’re proud of, and a sign that the topic is resonating. Despite sustainability not always being the most “entertaining” subject, we’re grateful to have found so many voices eager to join the conversation – and even more so that through clippings, we can reach up to 100x more people than with the full episodes.
